Guesthouse Camps Bay

We decorated this beautiful Guesthouse on one of the most amazing setups in Camps Bay, with each room individually decorated with warm colours and some detailed African finishing touches.

We have paid thorough attention to detail, ensuring the wellbeing and comfort of guests. Examples of this are the inclusion of fine, crisp linen while plugs were set up for European use, mirrors were installed and superb South African design products were used to convey the ambience of our beautiful country.

Upper Claremont

In the classic setup of Upper Claremont, within this gorgeous home, the owners desired a slight contrast to the Victorian Style and Country Style of their previous interior with a more contemporary style, relevant to today. We decided to go for a very minimal furnishing and develop the interior, giving it its own distinctive character while placing some large contrasting pictures on the wall on the other side. We kept the lounge, dining room and living area minimalistic but still striking enough to make a statement.

With the kitchen, we provided a very light tone for the painting of the cupboards, enhanced the sense of space – further maximising what is an already spacious area. We additionally put some small decorations in place to brighten the area with some colour.

A landscaping company redesigned the garden and the pool was upgraded with solar panelling on the roof of the house, painted in a dark colour to attract the sun rays and heat the water up faster. The spacious yard was landscaped with a minimalistic approach as well to sustain the beauty of nature without the disturbance of over cluttering with garden furniture, as well as sustaining the space on the patio to enjoy a Sunday barbecue and drinks.

Blouberg

In this house, the goal involved opening up the space and placing decorations to enjoy space and room.

Some of the cosy decoration details were reused and combined with new additions as well as lush couches and exceptionally large dining room tables for a lovely family dining experience.

The challenge was to create some feature walls to give the house some character and depth so the furniture pieces could make a statement. Previously, all the walls as well as the floor were white, so we decided to add in some beautiful feature walls with a special paint technique and effect that changed the face of the entire house.

This senescence should always be in place with each property: the pictures taken reflect only part of the work done.

Hout Bay

After purchasing this lovely home, nestled on the mountain slopes in Hout Bay, the new owner requested our services to freshen up the place with natural and light colours and installing natural furniture and pieces with an African ambience to make an impact for visitors.

The home offers a superb and unique floor plan, built in a long stretch ensuring each room gets the stunning view of the Hout Bay Harbour. We repainted the house and had the master bedroom’s bathroom completely modernised. The decision to have shutters installed around the entire house worked wonderfully for shading from the sun with the added bonus of increased security.

For the garden, we had the area trimmed and arranged to accentuate the exterior of the home, further enhancing its character and making the entire property even more inviting.

Above all this, our biggest challenge was that the owner was overseas for the entire duration of the project and when he arrived at his fully furnished and luxurious house, we were keen to hear what he thought. We were very pleased then to hear that he was extremely happy and that he approved of our work.
